5 Steps total
Step 1: Check system tray for ADM
ADM is a purple leaf like icon the represents the Athena device mgr
Step 2: If ADM is not running
Click your windows start menu, then all programs
Look for the Athenahealth, Inc folder
open it
then double click the Athena Device Menu
Step 3: If ADM is running
From the system tray right click ADM Icon and exit application. Once completed follow Step #2
Step 4: Try Test patient for scanning
once previous steps are complete please try a test scan if test scan does not work proceed to step 5
Step 5: Click the 'Gear' Icon in top menu bar of Athena

Once there clear browser cache, once cleared you will be required to log back into Athena Health.
